The Back Door Cafe is
currently featuring the work of local artists Bob
Hovanec & Pat Kerr of Big City Signs, a custom sign shop
specializing in carved, dimensional signs,
vehicle lettering, 23k gold leaf, etched & glue
chipped glass located in the Ferndale section of
Johnstown. Bob & Pat have become fascinated
with vintage advertisements from the local area
and have recreated many on glass. The work
currently on display in the dinning room at the
Back Door Cafe shows a passion for detail
and a unique ability to make the once ordinary
print ad into works of glass art anyone
would love to hang in their home. If
