Hi Everyone, Can it really be possible that September is right around the corner? We at the Back Door Cafe hope you enjoyed the beautiful weather. Any one with a pool finally got there money's worth this year! It was a great summer for local mushrooms too. Chef Tom has done his best to stock up for winter. Our menu is overflowing with local vegetables, fruits & herbs. This, our final week before we close for a short Vacation, has many great reasons to come in and enjoy the Great Food & Drinks at the Back Door Cafe. Wednesday night is Weary Workers Wednesday & in conjunction with the Heritage Discovery Center's Last Friday at the Ethnic Social Club with music by Striped Maple Hollow, Friday is our Cambria City Crawl Happy Hour. To read all the details go to http://www.thebackdoorcafe.com/MenuCafeHappy.asp This Thursday night, August 26, 2010, ART WORKS, located at 413 Third Avenue in Cambria City, will officially be opening its doors to the public from 7 pm to 9:30 pm. The title of organization's grand opening is "The Illumination of ART WORKS". All the exhibiting art will have a light-based focus, and will feature eleven artists representing four states: New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Georgia. The exhibiting artists are Wanda Spangler-Warren, Elaine (Lamberti) Defibaugh, Justin R. Hammer, Cindy Hartness, Jane Haskell, Charles Narcisse, Thaddeus Pawlowski, Sterz, Helen Thorne, Kevin Turner, and Sarah Walko.
